FWIW, I had both beers on draught, so it seems CA is still selling it. Don't know, if they have kegs sitting around in a warehouse or something... Also, there are a lot of harvest ales in the LCBO still. I do agree that wet hop beers tend to go bad fast though. Also there is a wet hop festival on Thursday Nov. 15. http://dailyhive.com/toronto/fresh-hop- ... ronto-2018. When did the harvest end?

Different varieties get harvested at slightly different times but... September? Maybe early October, at the latest.

Drinking Fairweather’s Donna. Their first kick at a pilsner(and lager in general i think). It’s absolutely fantastic. Lots of apple and pear, crisp cracker malt and a really clean dry finish. It’s honestly tough to put down for more than a minute between sips. Damn near perfect in every way. Fairweather continues to impress me, with pretty much any style they do. I think this may be the best Ontario Pilsner I’ve had....just ahead of Barncats first version of their German Pilsner.
Get out to Fairweather if your haven’t made it out their yet.
As a side note.....when I was in there picking these beers up, 2 weeks ago, they were carving up a massive pumpkin out front. Perhaps they’ll turn it into a pumpkin beer that I will actually like ;)

I enjoyed that beer a lot. I think George brewed it before he left.

Traquair Jacobite Ale - This ale pours a deep dark brown that looks red when held up to the light. It's clear with zero sediment on bottom. It's sweet and fruity, bready with scotch-ale earthiness. The coriander seemed too much at first, but is much smoother after a few sips.

Hofbräu Original Lager, not the fanciest style of brew around but a damn good one. Remember 'just beer'? I think it beats most of the Euro Lager offerings we can get here.

(The few that the LC has obtained for many years among several potentially good ones - imagine if we got more stuff like the Andechser line, SO tasty.)

Also really digging Godspeed of late, really like Nonbe Oktoberfestbier and Otsukaresama Dortmunder, great renditions of classic German styles.
The Hanabi Smoked Saison is fantastically good also. I am happy to have any of these on hand.
