lug tread and my broken hearted ale.

The Lug Tread is fresh and it really has gotten better and closer to what a "kolsch" style should be, is assumed to be.

Grand River Russian Gun Imperial Stout - do yourself a favor, let these bottles rest ONE MONTH past bottling when the flavor really starts to knit together (showing some coca flavors.)

Hooray for having one of the world's best brewers in our little province (well maybe two or three.)

Meantime Coffee and Meantime Chocolate. I enjoy both, but prefer the Chocolate.

I haven't had either of these, and I am going to consider doing so tonight. But in the meantime, I'll have an Orval.

Unearthly.

Not at all what I expected, what a fascinating beer. I find the hops are a bit hidden, but really start to build at the back of the mouth. First sip I was thinking I'd become immune to hops, but now I'm almost done my glass and the back of my tongue is numb.

Weihenstephaner Vitus Wheat Doppelbock, very nice.

Had some very sticky crud at the bottom of the bottle, anybody know if aging doppel wheat bocks makes them taste wonderful?

Fish Tale 10th Anniversary Reel Ale. Wonderful dark amber colour, loads of citrus, floral hops and sweet malt on the nose, and just a great citrus, bitter dry long long finish.

Just having another Paddock Wood London Porter and it really reminds, in aroma and taste, of Grand River's Mill Race Mild (except for the higher alcohol).

Beau's Lug Tread (from new 4-pack) and Anchor Liberty. Both were great.

That's what I heard.

Also, they have these neat little po-boy sandwiches. Really tasty. I'd like to see more po-boys around these parts, ie London. We have a significant po-boy shortage, and any addition of po-boys to non-existant po-boy scene will be a welcome addition.

Paddock Wood Loki IIPA. Definitely not in the usual IIPA territory, as it is really restrained and balanced, with no over bearing hop bitterness. Drinks far too easy for an 8.9% beer.
