Brasserie Mille Îles IPA Américaine
Microbrasserie Le Castor Vin D’Orge
Microbrasserie La Memphré Double Menton

Three very good beers from Quebec. I’ve long been enthused about the scene in this province.

Had Bellwoods Bring Out Your Dead a number of times at Only Cafe.
It wasn't served freezing cold, and it's so great on tap. So world class.

And had that Iron Maiden Trooper Porter, fun to try but it's highly skippable,

The New 10°Lezak Lager at Godspeed is also incredible tasting even with the slightly lower gravity. Same Czech imported ingredients as the Svetly Lezak 12°premium lager.

The Robinsons Iron Maiden Trooper Porter made me “Run To The Hills.” One and definitely done. Unfortunate, because Old Tom Strong Ale from the brewery is excellent and I tried the Iron Maiden beer based on that experience.

Collective arts life in the clouds IPA
Collective arts project number 8 IPA (Simcoe + Moutere + Columbus hops)
Collective arts SOUR brewed with peach, passionfruit and raspberry.

Sour is solid. Both IPA really good, but these should really be drank fresh, not a month or two old. Sediment in the Clouds, haha. The 8 is incredible. I love you CA!

Edit Haha, Beyond The Pale YUMMY same deal - still very tasty, yet in decline with some nasty chunkies in the can. Do not do this!! Actually this product has vanished from Toronto, apparently it was outselling the other beers they had? Not selling enough Aromatherapy? We don't really need YUMMY with Collective Arts around, sure but I still miss it here.

Fairweather Modus sour ipa-excellent stuff as always from Fairweather.
Anderson Brut ipa- really nice and dry, crispy. Possibly better than the CA brut ipa. Still miles behind Merit’s brut ipa for the best one I’ve had. Still chasing the dragon on that one.
Lots of cans of Barncat Space Juice-typical barncat greatness. Juicy/creamy/tropical/glorious all st the same time. Only 6 cans left :)
CA surround sound- I’m loving this series in all its versions. Always top notch.
Great Lakes, over my dad body Pilsner- a really nice easy gocouple no drink. Perfect for yard work/mowing the lawn etc. It’ll be in my fridge as long as it’s around.

At bier markt, I retried a favourite Boon Kriek. To my disappointment, it it now a sweet lambic with not nearly the complexity I rememer it having. I will have to remember to avoid their regilar lineup now.

At Wvrst, I had a glass of Cascade Kriek. Good, but could be more complex. So far I liked Cascade's apricot beer the most, which may surprise some. However, my palate seems to miss some of the funkiness often found in sour beers. I also had some Pilsner Urquell and Godspeed's czech lager. I don't know which I like more. Both are great.

Cascade almost always comes across that way to me. Aggressively sour, but in a clean way compared to other brewers. I tend to like that a little less, but I can respect it was their intention to make it that way and it obviously works for lots of other people.
