So, to get your post count up, you are now replying to your own posts

For me it's a Russell Brewing Black Death Porter....I think this has been struck by the black death as it's just a lifeless dark brown, over sweet porter.

Earlier today had a 2007 Terrible with my brother, and my brother got me a great birthday gift, an Unibroue 16 and another bottle of Terrible he picked up in St.Jean-port-Joli (i've slowly converted him to a beer geek). Right now, really enjoying a Miami Weiss - is this considered a white IPA - I love it!

American Wheat Ale - the style is pretty wide open though, so you can get some pretty wide ranging beers lumped under this category

I know Boulevard/Deschutes did a white IPA collaboration and I wondered if it was in the same vein.

Drank at the Chambly festival this part weekend:

Trois Mousquettaires Baltic Porter Barrel Aged (thats right!)
Trois Mousquettaires Kellerbier
Brou-Ha-Ha Gaz de Course
Saint-Bock Black Jesus
Trou du Diable Barrel Aged Nez de Poivrot (bottle)
Trou du Diable Siason du Tracteur
Loup Rouge Fand'Chienne (awesome name)
Loup Rouge Chapeau Noir
Dieu du Ciel L'Herbe À Détourne
Hopfenstark Station Saison 7
Ste-Ambroise Pumpkin Ale (draught!)
Ste-Ambroise IPA
Brasseurs sans Gluten Glutenberg
Bedondaine La Turlutte
Multi-Brasses La Suggestion (good fresh blueberry beer)
Unibroue 17 (new batch)
Unibroue Blonde de Chambly
Unibroue Maudite
Unibroue Blanche de Chambly
Boquébière Hildeguard
Cidredie Cryo 2008 prestige ice cider (very similar to Face cachée's Frimas)

About all I can remember off the top of my head. Highlights of the festival: Participating in beer competition judging, the barrel-aged offerings, MacAuslan pumpkin on tap, and the very, very nice festival glassware.

Captain's Reserve Imperial IPA from Captain Lawrence. So grateful right now for my friend that brought this back on a Greyhound trip from hell.

Goddamn. What kind of barrels if you don't mind me asking?

Trying to polish off my Red Racer stash over the next couple of nights as I clear room for other stuff (fall seasonals: come on!)

Bertrand '09 Viognier. It's cool. Watching 'The Story of ANVIL', unbelievably cool film. Just go buy it, don't bother renting.

Trois Pistoles x2
Fuller's London Porter

Chilling out with some Gordon Lightfoot. Making life decisions, the usual. Maybe some more Trois Pistoles?

I, personally, like to make important life decisions with either Orval or Trois Pistoles on hand. I mean that sincerely, not sure if it's a superstition thing or comfort, who knows. But they're good friends to have.
