Fort Garry Big Buddha

From Canadian Beer News "Big Buddha is a 5% abv and 14 IBU ale infused with ginger and lemongrass, and described as “crisp and light and goes with whatever you have going on.”

Ginger and lemongrass flavours very nice, quite enjoying this.

Last night at The Loose Moose:
Barn Door Summer Storm Lager (draft)
Junction Craft Brakeman’s Session Ale (draft)
Liberty Village Gosebuster (draft)
Great Lakes Limp Puppet Session IPA (draft)

Each time I come here the draft list is slightly better than the previous visit, and I'm very glad to have this place nearby.

Nickel Brook Über Berliner-Style Weisse, fantastic reminds me of being in Berlin just a bit.

Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier, still a fine Hefe and trying it with a bit of lemon it's not bad at all.

Saturday: Strongbow, Budweiser

Sunday: Dasani Sparkling water

The joy of going to a two-day festival and discovering that the only things available are Bud, Bud Light and Strongbow, with the Strongbow running out Saturday by 4pm and not being restocked. Oh and beer tickets are non-refundable, hence the one Budweiser.

Hard to believe that you can get more diversity in sparkling water selections than beers at Downsview Park

Yup $8 - at that price, the markup is almost all to pay for the exclusive contracts they get.

They still carbonated it and gave it more flavour than Budweiser did

I dug up a couple from releases last year:

Cuvee des Jacobins: Still outstanding.

Midtfyns X Porter: Very disappointing. Well past it's peak. Shame, this was so good fresh. I thought it would do better, given the BB date is 10-04-2015.
