We're currently getting 3 shipments a year of Landlord here in Alberta. Arrives about 4 to 6 weeks old, so as fresh as it can possibly be. Such a lovely drop. Hope to see more of their range make it over.

Last night at home:
Maine Beer Co. Peeper Ale - beautifully bright, hoppy, and quenching brew; paler and more tropical than your typical APA.
Sly Fox Route 113 India Pale Ale - just okay; drank more like an EPA (appley, grassy-earthy, and floral) than a US IPA despite being relatively fresh.

its drinking very well. very close to still but still some minimal carbonation. the aroma is massive aged out malts. the flavour has mellowed out compared to how it was when young, not as big as the aroma but still very full for a beer thats 7 years old.icemachine wrote:Nice, how's it tasting? Victory Festbier, an incredible Oktoberfest/Maertzen that's hard to describe and another good reason why we need the brewer here.
Firestone Walker Oaktoberfest, no regrets picking these up either and has a much harder lager 'edge' than the smoother, almost ale-like Victory. Completely different!
