Pipeworks Hyper Dog. Pretty good, though I think IPA's are their strength

I thought bier de gardes weren't supposed to age well, meant to enjoyed fresh. But the La Choulette Ambrée is very enjoyable now (taste & aroma much like a good Belgian Dark Strong ale), with a June 2006 best before date. I swear it wasn't on BierMarkt's last 2 beer menus, it just appear on thier "Last Call" list months ago...
Biere de Garde translates to "beer for keeping"

Hit The Stowaway again on Monday evening with Mel & Cale to scratch our arcade itch and sample their all you can eat spaghetti & meatball special. The Naughty Neighbour and noodles were both tasting great, and the surprise side of garlic bread was fantastic!

They just need to get some '90s era pinball games in there, I'm not quite talented enough for the unforgiving '80s Pin-Bot...

Looks like we made the news ;)

Can't lie, I'm a bit home sick, but leaving Belgium's beer selection behind is gonna be tough...

Stone oaked arrogant bastard I found in the back of the fridge that was from 2011. It was surprisingly good.. almost like a barleywine. The oak flavour was gone though.

Heady Topper. My first. The only IIPA that can compete with Hopslam, IMO. A side by side would be close. Damn perfect. Thanks, Electroluminescent!
