Phillips Amnesiac. Very drinkable. It doesn't seem nearly as big & bold as Tree's Double Hophead, yet it's actually bigger!

It's above zero, sunny and absolutely no wind... feels spring.

Just had an Amsterdam Spring Bock (one of my last few) with cheese, pepperoni & Bretzel for lunch.

3:2 Wells IPA to Duggan’s No. 9. Each complements the other, the No. 9 contributes American citric notes; the other, English character. The Wells is a little lean on its own; the generous APA-style Duggan's fills that out. A mid-Atlantic marriage.

icemachine's Homebrewed Porter and IPA, followed by a Hopfenstark Helles and a Var Tripel 2010. The Hopfenstark Helles may be my wedding brew for Octiber. Just fantastic!

Les Trois Mousquetaires Weizenbock. This was sitting in my fridge for ever and I finally cracked it tonight. Started overly saccharine and boozy and I didn't dig it, but became quite port-like as it warmed and won me over.

Epic Ales Terra Saurus & Simply Winter Ale
I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Ayinger Weizen Bock - delicious pale weizen bock, need to return to the store to buy some more!

Flying Dog Double Dog - this is a2 year old bottle, and still quite hoppy and bitter. While Horn Dog is their actual "barleywine," it is in fact a terrible beer. Yet while Double Dog may be referred to as their "double pale ale," it is in fact an excellent US-style barleywine. Go figure!
