LOL - exactly!

Later in the night:
Columbus IPA (draught) - superb IPA that tastes very similar to Alpha King with more noticeable bready-nutty flavours
Columbus Bodhi DIPA (draught) - a massive blonde West Coast DIPA, pure hop juice with almost no discernible malt profile, right up there with Pliny, Dreadnaught, and HopSlam IMO
Anchor Our Special Ale 2012 Christmas Ale (draught) - pretty standard spicy-malty Winter Warmer; I had been seeking this out for 6+ years but to be honest it was kind of underwhelming
Uinta Hop Notch IPA (draught) - respectable WC IPA with APA drinkability; clean, well-made, and spot on the for the style. Good quaff to end the night

The Consecration was a stand out for me, but maybe it just seemed more special in contrast with all of the big stouts & barley wines .

And Patrick was served a cuppa Yorkshire Gold, which I believe Belgian has described as the 'Blackout Stout' of teas .

Jeremy set up a blind tasting of his Imperial Coffee Stout vs DDC Peche Mortel. Aroma went to the DDC, taste went to Jeremy. This guy can brew, have never been disappointed.

Kind of a night of barrels for me...with 3 different kinds of drinks.

After the Liberal protest today @ Winterlicious at O and B Grill

-Henry of Pelham Cab Merlot - Never really gave these wines (any kind of merlot blend) a good shake, but this is pretty good - oaky and spicy.

-with dessert: a Dalwhinnie 15, clean and straight up - gorgeous scotch.

-at home: small glass of Old Kentucky Bastard.

to drink, people... to drink. Good stuff, many people would shy away from marketing your brew as being similar to poop, but not Evil Twin.
