Absolutely. I really like the monogamy series. this one is far too drinkable.

Went to the early Amsterdam/Volo shindig:
-Decalogue (1) - Golden Ale 100% fermented with Brett
-Sleeping Giant
-Downtown Brown on cask
-Full City Tempest

Loved them all, the Brett one really stood out, the coffee Tempest was excellent, and I was glad to try the Sleeping Giant since I missed the bottle sale. Saw a few BTer's there, the patio was warm if you could triangulate your position between two heaters. Good times.

Stopped in at The Ceili Cottage to try Beau's pumpkin gruit but it sold out yesterday, so settled on the Durham ESB on cask.

Back home: Bellwoods Roman Candle. Very nice. Had a super fresh Witchshark last night and there was something missing - a little too hot.

Now onto Hennepin and trying to find the new My Blood Valentine SOMEWHERE online. The new Frightened Rabbit is tiding me over while I search...

Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. 3 years of it. Winter 2010-11, Winter 2011-12 and Winter 2012-13.

Ranked them as follows:
1) 2010-11
2) 2012-13
3) 2011-12

Not sure what happened with the 2011-12 other than it was the one I didn't get from the LCBO. The older vintage had smoothed out the rougher edges around the fresh ones.

Still all in all, it was very drinkable in each year.

The Only Cafe has Beau's Gruit today.

There I had Beau's There Gose The Dynamite & Burnt Rock Smoked Porter. The Gose was more like a tasty lemony witbier with some salt, and the porter while smooth & delicious.

Sunday -- $5.00 pints w/ tax in.

Though I'm not a huge fan of malt barley ales, this Salt Springs Winter Ale is certainly very delicious! Has anyone tried any of their other brews? Thoughts?

I'm sure you've found it by now, but in case you haven't (and you mean legally), it's here: http://www.mybloodyvalentine.org/Catalogue.aspx

You've waited far too long to consume that, surely it's fallen off by now.

It's almost a barley wine at this point, the hops are long vanished into a thin seam of residual bitterness and the malts have rounded into a cake-like breadiness that is nicely set against the warming alcohol.

^ I should get paid to bullshit that good.

Just getting around to popping my growler of Shackland's Pale Ale. Now I wish I had more than one growler of it, I don't know how I'm going to resist just drinking it all...

I know at least one person on here knows what hop/hop combo is providing that amazing aroma, anyone know what it is?
