Nita Cranshaw's Spruced IPA

Spruce flavour is present, but not overwhelming. What strikes me about this beer is that it has a delayed and very bitter aftertaste. I love it.

Godspeed has no more Svetly Ležak 12°at the brew pub store BUT now have cans of the equally-brilliant Tmavy Ležak 12!!

This Czech-style dark lager is a treat, somewhat bready and chocolatey. Grabbed a bunch these & the Godspeed Oi! ESB, also newly-minted in cans & I think pretty amazing, a supreme dry/malty/herbal balance. I wouldn't want to miss either.

Now having a Godspeed UMI Gose, obviously a beer I'd appreciate most at the end of a good, sweaty bike ride, and great in its bright fruity-lemony acidity and salty deep golden cloudy goodness.

Compared to the Bench Brewing Sour I reported on a couple of days ago it isn’t even a fair fight.

I kind of blinked at the price of the latest Bench (Strawberry Grove) at the LC. Then got two of these from Collective Arts. You're right. This CA Sour nas tons of complex tart fruit goodness.

Also, it's a dry hopped sour (with Peach, Passion Fruit and Raspberry) with a deep peachy / hot pink colour. Mind exploded!

Dominion City Two Flags IPA - Week-old can from Farm Boy is drinking very nicely. Bright cascade hops, medium haze and somewhat soft mouthfeel. Disappears quickly.

I just returned from my first trip to Godspeed brewery, and I can say I am very impressed.
ESB - well done.
Kristal Imperial IPA - ditto
Barley Wine - amazing
Dark Czech Lager - also amazing.

Flying Monkeys Sparklepuff Triple IPA. This is the second time I have mentioned this beer but it’s worthy of reiteration. One of the best beers-non-Collective Arts category-currently being brewed in Ontario.

Honestly, this beer wasn’t my thing. The 2 cans I bought were really nice and hazy.....not the chunky mess like some people were getting; but I can’t get past the Canned Peach flavour on the finish getting more and more prevelant as I drank it
