Great Lakes THRUST! an IPA — Always loved this one. The can still mentions "a beer with a deep copper hue" but this batch is yellow haze. Delicious, but I would love a some of the original.
Blood Brothers Mara (salted peanut butter stout) — This is a liquid candy bar. Muddy brown.

Fuller’s Vintage Ale, 2019 Edition. Exceptional as always. While the LCBO Christmas release does lean heavily on repetition, in the case of the Fuller’s I hope they keep repeating.

Yep drank one of these the other night as well. Always a treat. I wish they’d bring back the Samuel Smith winter warmer as well

Agreed, I bought a dozen of the Imperial Stout last year with the intent of aging most of them...but that worked out less well than planned. :D :(

I guess i'm the only one who didn't enjoy 2019 Fullers Vintage Ale, it's fine.. but not worth cellaring this years vintage. I think it's the Crystal malt they sourced from NZ is throwing me off.

Not that I didn't like it but I agree the 2019 is the weakest of the last 5 years
to my untrained palate it tastes more like a pale than an old ale

I’d agree it’s not as good as usual....but that’s a pretty high benchmark. Still glai grabbed a few before they’re gone

Thornbury Pickup No. 26 Pilsner and Dam Dark Lager (dunkel) — Solid options, still as good as they were in the King Brewery days

Monday:
Collective Arts BLACKBERRY, CHERRY, LEMON SOUR - very good, assertive berry fruit and the lemon gives it a little tangy depth. (Only Cafe)

Fat Tire Amber Ale, can from LCBO. Really liking this one! Nice hop profile.

Godspeed Svetly Lezak 12º, oh wow this is just in another league of complexity. Hoping Bim will bring this Czech-style beauty back next summer.

Tuesday:
2018 Fuller's Imperial Stout. Classic British style, almost fruity profile and the tamer rose petals from this bottling is even more so. They really dialed it back to feature the light roast and chocolate. It's good but kind of simple.

2017 Saint Ambroise Russian imperial Stout, holy cow this has smoke and oak, some nice depth. It is maturing insanely well. I think I prefer it to the Fullers. If you stocked up on this, you're a winner!
