2 x 10 Bitter Years.

It's every bit as good as it was when I had it on tap at Chancey Smiths in London, easily one of the best beer bars in Ontario.

It's nice to know that there are at least two brewers in Ontario who not only aren't afraid to brew a hop-forward beer, but who also have the skill to pull it off.

Oh, and the back of the label is kind of amusing.

La Choulette Blonde 2005
Westmalle Dubbel 2006
Maredsous Blonde 2007
Rochefort 8 2005

Pretty Rockin'. I really like the first two especially, the La Choulette becomes subtle & complex without the grainy and alcohol flavors it had when it was new.

Black Oak Double Chocolate Cherry Stout - simply excellent
Black Oak "X" (10 Bitter Years) - one of the nicest things ever made within 25 km of my house.
