I recently overheard this:

Q. What's the difference between beer and women?

A. Beer doesn't complain when you reach for another one.

I've heard of this "beer" and I'm thinking of giving it a shot. My local store says something called Coors Light is their most popular brand; can I safely assume it is therefore the best?

A. A beer doesn't mind sitting in the wet spot it creates

A. You know when you go to a bar you will always be able to pick up a beer

What a random thread topic!

Did you know all the beer in your fridge, if converted from matter to pure energy, could supply heat & electricity to your house for life?

What a WASTE of beer, huh!?!

Ok, so, 24 bottles of beer at 355ml/bottle = 8520ml. For convenience, lets say it weighs the same as water. So 8.52kg * (299,792,458 m/s)^2 = 765,739,412,283 megajoules. Assuming that the average house uses 10,000kwh a year (36,000 megajoules), your case of beer could power 21,270,539 homes for a year! Or, it could power 272,699 homes for 78 years. That is, unless I screwed up using the calculator :)

That said, if I could figure out how to convert beer into energy, I'd sell the technology, not the beer.
