My wife just called and said she saw a new brewpub being worked on beside the hard rock cafe:

There are threads on this dating back a few years.

It's been on the drawing board for some time (since at least 2005), originally I believe they were going to set up in the same complex as the Adidas store/Future Shop but the more southerly location, a few doors south of the Hard Rock, appears to be where they've finally leased.

I'm not sure if there's a fixed opening date but I wouldn't expect to see the doors open prior to July. Still, it will make a welcome addition to the area and another stop for beer crawls between C'est What-Beer Bistro-Volo.
I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Their booth at Mondial suggested June 2009, as its already June 2009, it will probably be tight to have everything done and up, but we shall see. I was surprised by the sign at the booth as its been talked about so long i just assumed that it was the Brewpub equivalent of Vapourware.

Never been a huge fan of their beers, food isn't bad when i've eaten at the various Montreal locations, not spectacular, but solid. Despite that, having a brewpub and an introduction to better beers at Dundas Square can't be bad for the craft beer community as a whole, something else to expose people to non MolBat products.

I think they would be more successful in hipster Toronto if they had stuck with Les 3 Brasseurs rather than anglicizing the name as in the picture you posted.

Mill Street is also promoting some sort of Dundas Square brewpub. I think it's probably just a temporary beer garden, but their promo material looked like something more on first glance.

I've been to Les 3 Brasseurs in Montreal a few times. The food is pretty good and the beer is better than mainstream, but it won't blow you away. It's a lot like the US Gordon Biersch chain, before it went way downhill. Kind of a gateway brewpub.

It's a temporary beer garden for Luminato.

I was past the 3 Brewers at noon on Friday and it looks like it's ready to go. The front is clear and complete. The tables are set and laid out with menus. The front door was locked and a hand-written sign said to use the rear entrance.

I'm wondering if it will open before the announced June 15.
