I added dry malt extract to my ice cream tonight and it was delicious! Anyone try this? Tastes like a cold malteser.

Never done it, but I imagine it would be tasty as DME is just concentrated, tasty wort. I assume it was vanilla you tried it on. Correct? No?

Never tried it, and I'm not a big fan of malted milk. It's great in Hot Chocolate though!

It was the Breyer's banana cream pie (which tastes of cream and pie, but not banana). I imagine it would be good with chocolate or a decent qualtiy vanilla ice cream too.

I know of some folks who put it in coffee. I'll have to try it on ice cream next time I indulge. Though it is hard to find anything close to the deliciousness of the stuff at marble slab.

Try it in pretty much any ice cream. Or, make a classic malted milkshake - even strawberry is good. :) I used to boil down the dregs of my mash and put it on ice cream.
