GTA Brewers Selling Kegs to Home Consumers?

Post by Spab »

I've been thinking about getting a keg/renting a pump for an upcoming party I'm hosting, but can't seem to get much information as to what brewers I might be able to get this keg from. I know Steam Whistle sells kegs and rents pumps but I'd like to get something a little more adventurous than that. I've done a google search but most brewers websites don't seem to mention this (perhaps because they don't sell them). The Granite Brewery does so that's an option. I searched the forums as well and found a reference to Grand River and Camerons selling them. Anyone know of any others?

I think Black Oak will do it too.. the Granite ones are really good and they do mini kegs too.

They even have 30 L kegs of their regular stuff for $111. A good option if you don't think you'll get through 50L.

I've bought lots of kegs from Mill Street in the distillery - easy.

If they sold 15L of hopping mad, that might be enough to make me invest in some draft equipment!

This brewery isn't in the GTA but I was in Peterborough yesterday and Publican House sells 20 L kegs for $135 but you have to pick them up from the brewery.

Also I was at Old Stone and they had just run out of Pursuit of Hoppiness, all I got was a sample of it and it was fantasticly bitter. I'll have to talk to Doug Warren to see if he's breweing any more. The Stout was in good shape as usual

I think almost all of them will sell you a keg, but you may have to go to the breweries to get them.
