My lil' house party reads accordingly:

Irish whiskey & coffee with Bailey's flavoured whipped cream ontop to start the day!

Fresh baked Guinness bread w/ soft butter

Beer battered Halibut showdown: Guinness vs. Smithwicks beer batter.
with homemade coleslaw & tartar sauce.

Crispy fried Asian pork dumplings with Ponzu dipping sauce (they have lots of cabbage in them, so they're half-Irish!!)

Killkenny, Guinness, Smithwicks, and Inishowen Irish Whiskey flowin' all day long!

Possibly an Irish stew thrown together as well, still debating that one as of yet...

Cheers! Everyone have a safe and happy St. Paddy's Day!

Honey mustard chicken thighs. Not sure what the sides will be yet.

Skjalfti
Dieu du Ciel Équinoxe du Printemps
Aberlour Highland Malt 10 year old scotch whisky

Nothing Irish but all close enough. :P

Nothing very Irish at all. Crab cakes and spring rolls. Drinking ST Gemini and Skjalfti. Combined with the Lava, those folks from Iceland have released two very nice beers into our market.

Was harassed outside Gambrinus to no end and almost beat into a pulp on my route to the bus stop, as a result of St. Patrick's day silliness. Way to go!

In case anyone was interested the Guinness beer battered halibut was the unanimous winner over the Smithwicks beer battered halibut.

Their appearance was interesting the Guinness batter made it look more golden brown due to the dark beer in the batter, so even though they were cooked for the same amount of time, the when you saw the finished product, the Guinness looked more.... i dunno, dark, and crispy? .....

Anywho.... I'll have to think of some more stuff to deep-fry, I still have lots of oil in the deep-fryer, and lots of beer to make batter with.

Deep-fried... salt-water taffy?
