This guy kills me. His last beer review, done on his ultra-cheapo Dominican holiday, might just be his best. The guy practically blows his wad in his pants over pouring a Brahma!

Some of the great quotes you'll hear within;
"I'd rather have an adjunct lager than a pilsner", "You can't make a BAD pilsner" and his absolute classic (repeated about 50 times) "Guys! COME ON guys!"

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

It's almost "Andy Kaufmanesque"....well not really.

Some of the quotes from people who have viewed his channel:

"I HOPE TSA DIES IN A FIRE."

"our beers in australia are quality and always have been and you can get a good beer brewing with kits, stick your mash grain in your arse fuck "head. "
Malam cerevisiam facieus in cathedram stercoris

"God don't want me yet, man, I got more feet to taste."

WOW. I think the only way this can be viewed is as high comedy. The alternative is too sad to consider. :o

God forbid Toronto missing out on a single (albeit very special) beer. :roll:
cratez, you have misunderstood entirely... I don't care about Toronto missing it... I care about me missing it! :wink: (tongue planted firmly in cheek in both posts in case that wasn't obvious)

I am interested to know (Peter or anyone who knows), how many pounds of whole hops were included per barrel, a barrel being taken at 36 gallons and the hops leaf hops?

If leaf hops weren't used, then what were the pounds of pellets? You can add about 20% to each pound to make the equivalence roughly in leaf hops.

In the 1800's, the maximum pounds of leaf hops used for a 36 gallon barrel of beer were 7-8. The strongest porters and finest pale ales, especially when exported, sometimes reach that level. While it is true they sometimes used older hops or hops used in a previous brewing, this was not always so especially for the top grades of beer.

So how would this new beer compare to that, the same, much higher, less?

I wonder if these awesome sounding one-offs will ever be readily available to their hometown customers.

I'm sure there are. I think there will be a reason to run a similar experiment......If you were at Session 99, Serendipity was the 3300 IBU experiment that ran awry.
