Online, beer nerds were baying for blood. There’s nothing exceptional about that, because that’s their default state. The fate of the Beau’s service hit the legitimate media like a runaway delivery truck.

That's putting it mildly.

What's with this new crop of freelance "journalists". First we read the Montreal Gazette article in which the writer thought that Moosehead was a craft brewery. Now we have another "special to the..." writer spouting that "The fate of the Beau’s service hit the legitimate media like a runaway delivery truck." So other media (like Bar Towel, blogs) is illegitimate?
