The Tree Hefe is a good summer drinker... light and crisp with plenty of citrus. It should appeal to the masses, but I'm sure a few beer geeks will enjoy it in the hot weather.
It's light, unpasteurized and for me it's local. I would've drank more last year if I didn't brew 6 gallons of my own (which was maltier & hoppier).

By "plenty of citrus," do you mean that it's profile is more lemony and less banana, bubblegum, and/or spice?Derek wrote:The Tree Hefe is a good summer drinker... light and crisp with plenty of citrus. It should appeal to the masses, but I'm sure a few beer geeks will enjoy it in the hot weather.

Doesn't quite sound like what I look for in a hefe, but it's a hefe, so whether it suits my preferences or not I'll still enjoy it.Derek wrote:Yeah, that's what I thought last year. It was also crisp (light acidity, but I wouldn't say that it was tart).mintjellie wrote:By "plenty of citrus," do you mean that it's profile is more lemony and less banana, bubblegum, and/or spice?
The only time I don't enjoy a hefe is when it's APWA pretending to be one. *cough* Magic Hat *cough*
