Depends how you define available, and under the radar.

Denisons? but I think it is generally fairly recognized as good.

Grand River Mild is not super available in the GTA, but again most people also recogonise it as being quite good.

The Iron Duke is one I haven't had in ages. Friend's in highschool found it intimidating! I had one after I got into good beer and laughed, it is actually pretty solid!

+1

Also Creemore Kellerbier

I think many of the brewpub or house beers go unnoticed outside their neighbourhoods. For instance Granite or Bellwoods. Nothing really wrong with that since they are neighbourhood breweries, but it pays to seek them out or try them when you see them on tap elsewhere.

Finally, when was the last time you had a Black Oak Pale or Nutbrown? Camerons gets overlooked a lot too. Just not enough marketing buzz I guess.

Magnotta's True North Wunder Weisse, Altbier and IPA are all great beers, really well made and bang on the styles they intend to be. But the fact that they're only at the Beer Store in 12 or 24 packs and rarely on tap anywhere makes 'em sort of invisible to the beer geeks.

Would be great to see them pull an Amsterdam and start pushing their stuff more and doing some cool seasonals and one-offs. They've obviously got some talent working there.

I'll put another vote down for Red Dragon - IMHO, one of the (consistently) best cask ales we get - In that vein, I'll also say that I'll have the odd cask of Arkell's Best Bitter and be really impressed.

In terms of regularly available bottles/ I'd say beers like Muskoka Dark, and both F and M Stonehammer Dark and Pilsner.

Despite its irregular availability, I think House Ales Run ESB is my favourite cask beer in Toronto.

I'll second that. I don't drink it as often as I used to but it's always good. It pops up once in a while on cask at C'est What - yum.

The Iron Duke is a really top-notch, one of the best 'overlooked' casks at Volo a year or two ago. It is also pretty unique in Ontario.

I think Molson-owned Creemore gets a short shrift, but it's hardly overlooked. The Pilsner in a tall Czech crystal glass tastes pretty fresh and solid.
