who went to Amsterdam today?

To get some of the Whiskey Barrel Tempest? Just curious how long it took to sell out - I know they only had about 60 bottles.

I had my bottle last night. I love how these barrel aged beers from Amsterdam are very lightly carbonated - yummy and casky!

I know some find the Jack Daniels quality overwhelming and while I wouldn't trade in all my Tempests for Barrel-Aged Tempests, there's something really yummy I find with the vanilla, oak, and hot spiciness.

I wish I did, I was working in Hamilton this morning. Although I just got back from the Ship here in the hammer. 13 Amsterdam beers on tap for their tap takover. Had a "Second Coming" wine barrel aged sweet stout and the Maverick Gose. Hat's off to Amsterdam, these are excellent brews!

I tried to go but had to hit work early. I always seem to be working when delicious bottles appear on shelves across the city.

I went at about 1230 and picked up a pair, plus two regular Tempest and an Oktoberfest. Not sure have many were left at that point but it was looking rather thinned out.

I was lucky enough to get two (which was the limit per person). Forget the exact time but perhaps 1:00 pm? There weren't many left. Drank one last night as I had never had this beer previously. Absolutely sublime.
