Grey Cup Beers?

Post by JeffPorter »

What beers are you serving drinking for the Grey Cup?

I'm heading briefly into the city today, and thought I'd pick up a growler of something from Granite for my father in Law and myself...Something "Torontoish" though!

Grabbed a growler of Darkside (and one of Hopping Mad "just in case")

Cool thing about the Darkside growler - it's the one bottle that somehow made it from Halifax - The printing is in silver rather than yellow and there are fewer beers listed on the back - "DS" had to be printed on it. They're not sure how they got it - (someone who moved from or visited Halifax, possibly, and returned it?)

It's apparently the only one they have - thought about keeping it for a moment, but then thought I'd "send it out" again, to see who gets it next.

In terms of the game, great the Argos won, but I was almost cheering for the stamps in the second half to at least make some sort of run for it. But man they fell apart and not entirely their QB's fault...
