anyone happen to know how far out the best before dates are on headstock IPA? I see the cans at my local lcbo have a best before date of May 2013.. what would be the born on date in this case?

My guess would be they are giving the cans 6 months(?) If so, they'd be pretty new.

I bought some headstock today.. noticed they have switched to a brewed on date rather than a best before.

Definitely the way to go! Don't tell me when to drink something by, let me decide!

It's always been pretty unfiltered with floaties in my experiences - like many of their beers. I do think they've change the malt bill though, this new batch seems a lot lighter in colour.

Had one the other night. Born Jan 24th. Lots of floaties and it was great!

I had a can of this a couple weeks ago and it was very very good indeed.

Drinking one right now. It is indeed better than I remember. I still have an expiry date on this can, though. It says July 16th.

It is definitely lighter in the malt bill.

They are putting the production date on the cans now. Currently drinking some dated 01.14.14 and it's quite tasty and smells great!
