Just finished logging my cellar

Post by jprime »

After years of disorganization I finally did it. I started last saturday and picked away at it using Cellar HQ (thanks Ian). Suprisingly there was only one suprise but otherwise well organized in my brain. Anyone else (other than Ian) use this?

I have used trusty old excel for a while, so I don't see the benefit of CellarHQ at this point...

There's a googoe doc spreadsheet with my cellar circa last summer. Otherwise I don;t really keep track, and occasionally get surprised when I find something.

I finally got around to adding all my beer to cellarhq.. realized I had over 400 beers tucked away. I seriously thought I had somewhere around 200. I'm glad I took the time time to add everything in, I feel more organized now.

Now im set up for trading anyways. When traders ask for what I have i can never think of anything. My list is under jprime if anyone is interested. I ended up in the 460's range.

Just tried searching for your cellar and nothing came up under the name jprime.

Very nice collection of Bigfoot. Here's mine. http://www.cellarhq.com/cellar/cnaughton9 No where near as nice, I just started holding onto bottles though. Hopefully in a couple years I will have something half as good as yours.

Pretty jealous of all those Fantomes you've got resting there, especially the Dark White, one of my favourites.

I'm gonna have to buy myself another fridge, one I've got now is chocka full and I don't like keeping beer in boxes in a warmish room.....or I maybe just need to drink more?

Don't wanna come across as a douche but please don't contact me (already had one PM looking for stuff) about trading stuff......I don't trade.....I just buy, drink, cellar, drink, buy, etc etc.

Really? I might give it a shot then. Maybe I will try that tonight. Does CellarHQ have a database of beers and once you pick the beer it populates the "style" column for you or do you have to do that yourself?
