Hey Team Hamilton. Anyone going to the pitch meeting tonight, at The Casbah? Have you been to one already?

I couldn't make the pitch due to work. But I did get to the Judge for the RIS. Try to get some before it's gone!

Well I guess this brewery opening is much farther off than I thought. I was under the impression that they were already dealing with red tape and logistics, I didn't realize he was still trying to secure investors...

Although I suppose $1m isn't the full startup amount, and he already has other funds secured?

Does this guy even have any commercial brewing experience? I know a few other local homebrewers who I'd invest with before bankrolling this guy :)

Streets, I also flagged that lack of experience. Apparently the plan is to "hire a brewmaster". That seems too vague to me. Too many things about all of this seem a little odd.

Anyone know what's happened to the planned new brewery in Dundas?

How does he know what to look for in a brewmaster? Does he hire a consultant to do that for him?

That's another question to add to the list. He seems to have great enthusiasm but no experience with brewing or the beer biz. I couldn't make that "pitch meeting": I had a lot of questions. :(
