I'll pay whatever as long as it helps Nickel Brook get into the old Lakeport facilities (said somewhat tongue-in-cheek, somewhat half serious. Hamilton is a wasteland).

Yep, $18 is indeed a lot, but as previously said, the market will support what it supports and prices will adjust/re-adjust, so I'll just watch with interest rather than indignation.

They have about 3000 bottles. 12 bottle limit a person and 12 bucks a bottle. Most of their special releases don't sell out right away, but it's hard to predict demand like that.

If I make it out on the weekend, I can pick up a few extra and hold on to them for you. I wouldn't want the full 12 anyway.

I was at Bellwoods today about 11:15. No line up. I saw one guy carrying a case home, and another guy purchasing 6 bottles. I picked up a case to spilt with my buddy.

When I spoke with one of the girls last week, she said that she'd be surprised if lambda sold out sooner than one week.

Pretty cool news on the nicklebrook malevolent (to me at least). My brother dropped by on the weekend and someone in the store told him they were canning it this year. I hope that it's true because I hate buying 750s of nearly all beer. It's just not very good value.

Now I just have to hope that this beer is as good as I remember it because this beats both stones and firestones black IPAs to me.

That was me grabbing the case. Only six for me the other six for four other guys.

Nice to hear, another possible solid camping beer for the summer!

Isn't the Malevolent usually very expensive? Like 10-15 bucks a bottle? I wonder if, or by how much, they'll adjust the price point in the cans.

If it were priced like a regular beer instead of a premium beer I would drink that all the time.

Good to see you, fellow BT'er. Hope you had a chance to enjoy the fresh lambda. I was quite impressed with it, and am excited to age it :)

Besides the Lamba and fresh Cat Lady, Bellwoods finally released earlier this week the second bottling of their dubbel Toil & Trouble. Picked up two byt haven't tried it yet. It's been in the bottle for a few months now from what I heard.
