Crossing on a black friday is not in the cards for me.
Last year they tapped BCS and BCBW for growler fills over the Christmas holidays.

Nice to know that by going to GI's actual BF event I'll be guaranteed a bottle of Proprietors so I won't have to worry about all this craziness. It's a national frenzy for this beer, and it seems like it only gets bigger every year.

Reports (from a friend, who is friends with the manager) are that LOTS of people sent in extra people to boost their hoard.

As well, lots of people came in asking for "that super rare beer" While Im sure some people couldn't make it at all and sent a single mule, it's still a pile on to limited resources.

Lots of people actually yelling at the manager for "holding bottles" (they weren't) and having limits (whatever).

These guys run a fantastic beer store and they obviously love what they do, but I have to think that these release days are extremely trying for them.

All of that, I assume, was the catalyst behind what 'rfrf' posted.

Apparently this AM there were folks lined up at 8AM and a line around the building by open, so I hope anyone that went got what they wanted without any big kerfuffle.

I won't get in to the details here, but I have had some major issues with the beer manager at Premier in the past. This doesn't surprise me at all.
