Crazy Cover Songs...
Waaaay back I knew someone that would take as many covers of a song as he could find and mix them all together. Some of the results were amazing. I think I still have a tape of Blowin' in the Wind he did, If I can find it I'll post it.

And there goes an hour+ of my evening. Nice site!grub wrote:http://www.covermesongs.com/ is great for finding neat covers. i'm especially fond of their "5 good covers" series, where they take a well known song and post 5 (often vastly) different cover versions. some are pretty far from the mark, but others are damn good!

Haha, it doesn't surprise that Bodom has a cover of a Britney Spears song.ErkLR wrote: Also, Children of Bodom - Oops, I Did It Again:
As for Alestorm, I'm just not a fan of what they do. Metal music has a poor enough image as it without bands like Alestorm doing their best to act like clowns.
I saw Symphony X and Iced Earth a couple weeks ago at the Phoenix. That show kicked a lot of ass.
Shit, I forgot about this. What a great cover, thanks.

I also like Japan's cover of All Tomorrow's Parties. As much as I like the original, they made something totally different and nice out of it too.
Of course seeing the youtube post with that hairdoo...Looks like my brew kettle boiling over (just to bring this back around to a BT topic)![:D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
