dimpled mug sources?

Post by JeffPorter »

I have quite a few good beer glasses, lots of tulips and such to the point that my wife doesn't want me to buy any more...

I would however, like, a good dimpled mug that holds a about a pint.

I've tried the value villages and dollaramas, but no go...

any suggestions on where to get one?

Garage Sales,Value Village and Salvation Army/SVDP are where I have found all mine. Check and check often.

Tap Phong on Spadina, just S of Baldwin has tons of glassware, and I'm almost certain I've seen the dimpled mug variety there - I'm heading to Sanagan's today, and if I remember, I'll try to pop in and confirm. Or if you're in the area today for Pedestrian Sunday/Burger Bar/T&M/Cask Sundays at Smokeless/etc, you can do the same. I'll report back later this aft.

For just one, you could probably persuade a local pub to sell/donate.
Brands are for cattle.

No worries and thanks...Didn't think about Tap Phong. That place served me well over the years. I'll be back in town tomorrow and I'll try to get there...

Was over in the Kensington area again today and popped into TP. Indeed, among the myriad of glassware sat a dozen dimpled mugs, with a 0.3L measuring line half an inch from the top of the glass. Priced to move at $1.99. Have at 'em!
