Muskoka relasing TWICE AS Mad Tom DIPA

Post by TheSevenDuffs »

Muskoka just posted on their Facebook page that in 2 weeks they will be rolling out "Twice as Mad Tom IPA" cloking in at 8.4% ABV.

Looking forward to trying this one...

Had a big mug of it on cask at the cask days section at the Beau's Oktoberfest event and boy was it tasty. Put a big smile on my face when I gave the lady one beer token (5 bucks) and got a overflowing 500ml mug of it back in return.
Any idea if this will be in bottles or draft only?

There's a pic as well that looks like it'll be a 4-pack of 355 ml bottles.

Cool.
Is there confirmation that this will be in the LC or BS?

That's gonna be a great regular beer to have around, and I can't imagine it won't be awesome...I love 10BY, and Witchshark, but if I can just go and pick up a fresh 4-pk of this stuff that'll be great!

I can't wait!

Also - will this have to go through lab and label nonsense?

Is this a rename of the Cabin Fever currently making the rounds or something different? Both are 8.4% DIPAs.

with the regular turnaround of regular Mad Tom, im really looking forward to finally having a relatively fresh DIPA available here in ON. too bad they didnt put bottled on dates though, thats my only gripe about Muskoka! BOTTLED ON!

for anyone in the Guelph area, I was told the Wooly has a keg in their basement right now... don't know when they're tapping it, however.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

Cabin Fever 3 was the first kick at the can at making a DIPA.

I was told that they took many peoples feed back from Cabin Fever, tweaked the recipe and Twice as Mad Tom is in the tanks right now.

Any Muskoka DIPA hanging around now in kegs or cask is Cabin Fever 3.

(BTW this is similar to what Muskoka did for Cabin Fever 1 & 2 before releasing Mad Tom)

Cabin Fever 3 and Twice As will be similar of course, but Twice As is the final product.

If Mad Tom is 6.4%, shouldn't "Twice as" be 12.8%? just sayin' ...
