Brooklyn Monster Ale - Old?

Post by mh007 »

The major LCBO locations in Ottawa seem to be flush with Monster Ale.

The bottles say: BB Nov 2014
14:05 3191

If I'm reading this properly it was made on November 15th 2011. Was the LCBO just aging these for me and everyone else in Ottawa?

Monster Ale is terrible when fresh, needs at least 3 years of age to start getting good.

I picked up some of this at the bank/walkley location the other day. They also had DDC solstice d'hiver there as well. 2 big beers that are sold out pretty much everywhere else.
