The story? Basically...
I'm teaching a class designed to help you pass the Certified Cicerone Exam. Part of this is tasting every style in the BJCP guide. I've come up short 3 times (60 Shilling, 70 Shilling, Roggenbier) and would rather not shit the bed on Un-blended Lambic.
So if somebody can get me one 750mL bottle of god damn un-blended lambic, I'll trade at least 400% bottle value. Dead serious.

Unblended Lambic may in fact be a seperate style from Gueze in terms of BJCP guidelines, but I highly doubt anyone tasting blindly could tell the difference between the two. And that is if we are talking about bottled carbonated versions, which are rare.SlipperyPete wrote:I'm teaching a class designed to help you pass the Certified Cicerone Exam. Most unblended lambic is served uncarbonated in cafes, or you show up at a brewery with a jug and they fill it up for you.
At least this is how I teach such things...
