Mash Tun Construction (Where to get parts in Toronto?)

Post by groulxsome »

So for Christmas I'm upgrading my brewing from partial to full mash, but to do so I need to construct a mash tun. I'm making a simple cooler one and I've got good instructions and a parts list, the hard part is trying to track down everything in Toronto.

Does anyone know:

(1) Where to get a 10 gallon cooler?

(2) Where to get stainless steel fittings/plumbing supplies?

I tried Canadian Tire but they were useless. Are there any hidden plumbing supply shops or good sources for coolers and other equipment?

ontariobeerkegs.com for your fittings (they have cooler bulkhead kits and such too). assuming you want a rectangular cooler, keep an eye on walmart/canadian tire. the 48qt (12gal) go on sale fairly often for < $20.
