Agree. A year was a too long. Goudenvond was nice, and aged for six or seven months I believe, and subtle but that flat rock Pinot Noir I find very subtle as well.
In some ways it was more wine than beer. I actually liked it a lot because it was so different. I think I may have hit critical mass on barrel aged beers for a while. I can't get super excited about them, even if they are really well done.

I'm still really digging them, but I see what you're saying - might be there in a bit...I'm finding I like some barrels more than others, too...

Great, maybe the warehouse will ship it to the LCBO stores this time.

Just an idea.

^ Fresh Green Flash IPA would be a treat. As would Amnesiac DIPA. What about Little Scrapper IPA, was there talk on here somewhere of that - it's a nice session brew.

NAC are also saying Propeller IPA by end of Jan now.

On fire.

from esprit's post in another tread:

"Chimay Blue and Rochefort 8 will be full fledged General Lists in the New Year. Orval will be a seasonal in the first quarter. Rochefort 10 is only available through us on Consignment. Also coming in a limited availability one shot is Chimay Speciale Cent Cinquante in corked 750ml silk-screened bottle, their one time 150th anniversary version of White Cap but at 10% instead of the normal 8%. Hope that sheds some light on our upcoming offerings."

sweet!

anyone know if the plan is for Rogue Brutal Bitter IPA to come back? It's one of the few Rogue beers on the lcbo site that isn't flagged as 'discontinued'

The 150th... LCBO or consignment?? I tasted one bottle in december and it was one of the best beers I've had in recent memory...
