Haven't tried it but very interested. I like dry yeasts for their simplicity and the fact that I don't need to spend a week building a starter up from an expired packet...

I emailed Canadian Homebrew Supplies about this last week. He is in the process of stocking it. Certainly sounds interesting, even to have on hand for stuck fermenations.

Should be very intersting. Suprised to read that it will ferment that quick. Will certainly try it out.

Was at CHS today and Randy has the Belle Saison (along with Danstar's BRY-97 'American West Coast' and CBC-1 'Cask and Bottle Conditioned Beer' dry yeasts) in stock.

I picked up 2 each of the Belle Saison and the BRY-97. Looking forward to giving them a whirl...

Is it just me, or does everyone else have a really hard time navigating the CHS website? http://www.homebrewsupplies.ca/

i think the new site is far less pleasant than the old one (which was a little clunky but functional). i usually hit the store itself though, so i rarely have to suffer through the website. :/

I've tried a couple times but the old site worked so much better. With all the other options now in Ontario I haven't shopped at CHS for a long time.

I hope he can get his website in order. I've taken the time to sift through and he has stuff no one else has... Probably the best selection in Canada as far as I can tell, at least for equipment...

He's a complete ass to deal with though. Far better to get stuff from torontobrewing or brewerspantry. Ontario Beer Kegs is getting a lot of homebrew ingredients now as well. $6 whitelabs yeast will get my business.

And not having to deal with Randy is always a plus.
