Earlier today, a Cameron's RPA, bottled a mere 10 days ago. Tastes great. Right now, I'm at the bottom end of a He'Brew Sweet 16. At the beginning, I would say this was a hot mess, too much. But now, as it has come in to it's own, this is a fantastic drink.

Enjoyed the day off yesterday and had:
Lagunitas Sucks - bottled Feb 18
Half Pints Le Temps Noir - Some serious bourbon fire coming through on this; very, very drinkable.
Evil Twin Femme Fatale Brett - Subtle Brett hybrid IPA.
More Lagunitas Sucks

I rewarded by healthier lifestyle with a few beers over the last couple days.
One beer I sampled was the Mcauslan Maple Beer. Really just awful stuff. Worst maple beer I have had and worst beer I have had in years. Acrid burnt sugar bitterness alongside over the top cloying maple sweetness. Bleh.
The Sawdust City Cayenne Stout was good but a full pint as a bit too much for me.

Tried this yesterday and enjoyed the first half pint, the second half was a bit of a struggle. The ship filled up quick though, it was a full house by 430!SteelbackGuy wrote:I rewarded by healthier lifestyle with a few beers over the last couple days.

So much better fresh than aged.

Beau's Beaver River (cask)
3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze
GLB Dirtbag McQuaig
Oddly, the Dirtbag is quite tasty...I mean, for what's supposed to be a malt liquor. Rate Beer apparently didn't like all the reviews for it as there's noticeably less now, and the 100 overall score is no more.

A couple of others beer I have sampled recently are Diamond Knot IPA, Hercules DIPA, and BACCHAUS (sp), the latter thanks to Cale and Mel.
Also, I revisited the Cayenne Stout last night. Nice effort, just have a half pint.
Was at taps the other day and we had the Black IPA. Wonderful effort from this producer.
We are sort of wondering what to do the rest of the weekend...we may go to Toronto to check the beer scene, but Leafs fans are there and nobody really wants that at all. Maybe back to taps??
