Ommegang @ TBS

Post by Cass »

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere (saw that someone posted about Hennepin being at Bar Hop), but you can get both regular Ommegang and Hennepin in keg form through TBS. Certainly not cheap ($193/20L) but it is convenient. Probably the only real US craft beer they've got (in kegs).

think they've been available for a bit, as have the Chouffe beer.

better question, thought:

take this keg price and break it down to see how much certain King St bars are making per "pint"

So it's $10 per litre (more or less, with spillage and what not) from TBS. What have you seen it on for in bars?

just had my first pint of the BPA on tap locally at Betty's on King St east.....good to finally see we can buy it without having to consume a keg of it! Not that I wouldn't mind :P
