Yesterday at Milos' Craft Beer Emporium:
Bellwoods Roman Candle IPA (draught)
Flying Monkeys Nude Saison Sour (draught) - would love to see this join their regular lineup; very sessionable saison with the perfect amount of tartness
F&M Stone Hammer Oatmeal Coffee Stout (draught)

Then at home:
2011 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale - exactly two years old and it's so much richer and more complex than the fresh ones I've had; layer upon layer of cherry, toast, plum, toffee, and piney-citric hops. This beer never disappoints.

After an RPA, an almost two year old Peche.

Yum! Still has nice coffee aromas and flavours but the malts are smooth as glass. I think someone else has said this on the board, but this would have been a beautiful stout even without the coffee.

May be my favourite age of Peche, other than super fresh.

Haven't had the newer Spanish-brewed batch but the original Even More Jesus is easily in my top 5 for Impy Stouts. Loved that one. I normally hate sweet beers but that one did something for me. Deserves more attention IMO.

Currently drinking a Roman Candle (thanks Boney!). Something seems a bit off about this batch... Not quite the beer I remember.

I also haven't had the "Aun Mas...", but I agree on the standard Even More Jesus. I find the mouthfeel on some of the heavier Evil Twin beers to be fantastic- really full and smooth. Lil' B is another example.
I was at his new bar in Brooklyn, Torst, last week, and had the chance to try a version of Even More Jesus aged in port barrels. Not sure if I prefer it to the original, but it was a very nice variation.

They do have Peche without the coffee - it's Grande Noirceur. I picked some up in Quebec last December. I prefer it to Peche personally.

Beyond The Pale Hop On Your Face
Beyond The Pale Rye Guy

Both 32oz growlers while homebrewing this afternoon. Anyone think Rye Guy tastes a little different recently, or is it just me? Bit more of a wheat flavour going on it seems.

Nickel Brook Malevolent Imperial Black IPA, boozy, but I like the hop flavour in this one. Hoppy, with a whisper of dank. Although the price leaves something to be desired. I guess many brewers here are seeing dollar signs in their eyes with 650 and 750 formats, it's kind of like the wild west pricing-wise.

Yesterday, against my better judgment I purchased and drank a bottle of the 8 Wired IPA. I can see the potential in this one, but unfortunately it tasted like 4 month old IPA.
