4D - obviously delicious - big and malty with some booze. As yummy as it is, it makes me really want to try the bourbon barrel one.

Brewery only release?
Yes, they did only about four (edit: five) hundred bottles, but they only really announced it on twitter and to their mailing list, so they may have them for a little while.

Boris Cubana Libre

Saw this and bought it on a lark; had never heard of it. It's described as "Alcoholic Malt Beverage With Caribbean Cola Taste". I'd say that was fairly accurate. Rum and coke with funny rum.

I was very impressed with the pint that I had at World Of Beer. Big piney nose with clean and juicy-citric flavours. Also my first tick from Utah! :)

They probably just don't have access to what you requested in return :)

At Grand River last night for the Spring Beer tasting, won a 6 pack from the fridge and grabbed some "just bottled today" Curmudgeon. Sitting at the table with NRman and some of his friends. Sampled:
Great Lakes - Orange Peel Ale
Anchor Bock Beer - a little thin, the runt of the litter
Dogstalker April Bock - 2012 and 2013
My Bitter Wife - the highlight of the evening
Panil Bariquee - one for the sour fans, myself being one of them

Got a box in a Beer Advocate Spring BIF trade of some Quebec goodness:
Ghandi Bot IIPA
Les Trois Mousquetaires - American Barley Wine
Pit Caribou - Provision Tennessee Saison
Hornbeer - The Fundamental Blackhorn
DDC - Peche Mortel - Reserve Special
Catapulte IPA
Cantillon - Kriek
Hildegard - Saison Brux
Hildegard - Townships Red
Le Castor - Wee Heavy Bourbon
Pit Caribou - American IPA

How did the 2012 and 2013 Dogstalker Bock compare? I always wonder if bocks are worth aging.

The 2013 had a sharper alcohol presence, the 2012 was nice with a year on it, slightly smoother. But they are quite fine fresh too.

I was wondering how that turned out at the tasting. I had two bottles of 2012 that I opened sometime in the winter and they were both gushers!

Last night:
Homebrew APA w/ Galaxy, Citra, Nelson
