Cuvee des Jacobins is brewed by Bockor........looks like a new brewery we haven't seen before in Ontario. Who is representing them?

Terra Firma Brands is the agent for Bockor. We have the Omer and the Kriek Max on consignment and the Cuvee des Jacobins through LCBO retail.

We are also the agents for Abbaye des Rocs, Dubuisson, Bosteels and St Feuillien as well as a few Danish Breweries like Amager and Midtfyns.

Cheers,

Nick

There will be 400 cases of 12x500ml of the Amager Rye Porter released for the Fall (planned for September 16th). Estimated to be $6.25 per bottle.

That same release we'll have 400x12x500ml of Midtfyns X Porter for $5.95 and 400x12x500ml of Xbeeriment Black Force One for $6.25

Yeah I was going to respond to their other comment saying how great it would be to see those breweries on the shelves! I've been on a big Rye malt kick lately and I'm really looking forward to the Amager in particular.

Boney, wasn't the X Porter one of your mailing casualities as well?

May 26th, eh? They usually do a media tasting for these releases a couple of weeks beforehand, but I guess they're not this time.

Maybe the possible strike caused them to cancel it. And come to think of it, a strike will suck for some of those summer beers that would be best enjoyed fresh...

Anyway - thanks for finding this, Ceecee. I'm gonna spin it off into an "official" thread with the beers listed in the first post so discussion can continue.

UPDATE: Here's the new thread: http://www.bartowel.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=8978
