416 has Wheat no longer

Post by SlipperyPete »

Was just at the Amsterdam brewery this afternoon, and sampled a 416, only to notice that it is now being called a lager. Nice gentlemen behind the counter explained that 416 will not be containing wheat anymore. When did this happen?

Beer was alright. Unfiltered lager with the same hop aroma and bitterness as the original. But the mouth feel was nothing like it's predecessor. Definitely no wheat in that beer.

So how is it different from the Natural Blonde then, I wonder?
