I was in VT this weekend as well. Crossed back in Cornwall. The guy at the border gave us a bit of a hassle after seeing the growlers and started writing up the dreaded "yellow ticket" despite my declaration being only 2.5 total cases for 2 people (combined). Then he asked if I knew how many litres I had. When I gave him the exact number of litres and then explained that I converted that in to standard cases to make my declaration amount he actually crumpled up the yellow paper and told us to have a nice day.mixedup wrote:We came across at St Armand (89 from Vermont). No hassle whatsoever. Didn't even ask how many beers we were bringing back. We were only slightly over the exemption, so not that worried anyway.
