Gary, you have on many occasions educated us with your research and musings into beer history.

I recently came across this article, you may have seen it. If not, I think you will find it interesting.

Particularly fascinating is the part about how much the character of this malt could change what we think of some of the styles originally brewed with it.
Brands are for cattle.

Awesome find...I can't help but be reminded of heritage pig breeds that went out of fashion because of slower growth and the other "inconveniences".
