oast makes tasty for Ontario local brewery beers, they're def better than most but not $12 for a bomber good.
Harvest Ale is the only Muskoka brew I like. It is overpriced but at least not as crazy as Winter Beard. I remember it was $6.95 in the first couple of years of release? Before their "hip" rebranding.
Lake of Bays..............once a mistake, twice a fool.
I have to say I'm really impressed with Great Lakes' Lake Effect. One of the best local ipas in a while. It's up there w/ 10BY and Witchshark. Which reminds me, I was really impressed by Karma Citra too. IMO both should be included in their regular lineup.
Looks like I'll be buying a case of Orval this weekend.

No, but I'm beginning to feel like something strange is going on with this. Black Oak has posted (on Twitter) as late as the 25th that it's "coming very soon" to the LCBO. The blogTO article on local winter brews that was published today says "details of an LCBO release are still pending", and that it's $7.95. Yet, there it was, 6 (maybe 8?) bottles, sitting on the shelves at the Liberty Village LCBO last Friday night (Nov. 22). The barcode had been markered out and there was a $5.95 Vintages sticker over it. I bought two bottles. I'm not going crazy!!! Am I? I can even post a photo when I get home! What is going on here? Is it possible that NAC snuck some personal bottles onto the the shelves or something?

anyone know why the Bolshevik Bastard is part of the new OCB mixed 6-pack? Why showcase a beer that is not available at the lcbo? Or will it be available at some point?
