Pasadena

Post by rejtable »

Saw it mentioned in passing in a few old threads, but nothing dedicated just to Pasadena. If anyone is ever inclined to head to the Rose Bowl...

Lucky Baldwin's: great British style pub with over 60 taps. A reasonable percentage just fillers, but a good selection of locals and some internationals in to change it up.

Whole Foods: Massive WF, big beer selection on the second floor.

Congregation Alehouse: cool spot with maybe 20 good taps, food was solid.

Slater's 50/50: over 100 taps, lots of filler, but some nice choices. Lots of local, regional and national brands and a few international ones. Their signature burger was good, although i'm not much of a burger critic.

Stone store: pretty cool little spot right at an M station. Roughly 20 Stone taps including some special releases.

Pasadena is beautiful. Not sure I'd ever go just as a visit although going to Rose Bowl would probably be fine. Old Town is nice, city is clean and pretty.
