Dalai Lambic was good, but my highlights were the Double Tempest variants...

Brett Maverick and Gose was sensational as well

All in all, a good event. Good beers, nothing I had that blew me away, but I only stuck to things that I've never had. After a couple 14% beers, tastes get muddy anyways... lol

My only criticism, is that Bar Hop should have cleared some the tables and left for more standing space. I get wanting to keep the kitchen open, but I think most people were there to drink opposed to eat. Kudos to the bar staff though. Lineups outside were crazy long.

For me, I didn't like the Dalai Lambic. I had high hopes on that one. Good sourness, but I kept coughing after every sip.

Dalai Lambic was pretty intense. I enjoyed it and found it super interesting, and pretty good but also kind of hard to drink at times. (Which is arguably true of many lambics.)

I went to the junction tap takeover at the only instead. 31 beers and they were all fresh, well made, and balanced (which can't be said for most tap takeovers with one offs).

Tina and the crew from Junction must have worked tons of overtime to get so many quality beers ready for the event.

I really loved the Kolsh, the barrel aged ESB (nice lactic/brett character, with hint of flanders type acetic), the black lager, and the dry stout. Some very well made classic examples!
