New Cask: Granite Summer Ale
New Tap: Church Key Rosemary & Ginger
There were a couple of other new taps but I don't remember them. It was a good time that night. After starting with the wonderful Denison's Weisse I followed that up with the Granite Summer Ale. I've had both versions of the Summer Ale now and found my preference to be the cask version. It was nice and smooth.
The girlfriend tried the CK R&G to start. I gave it a try. After the initial smack in the face, it surprisingly (to me) works* though not all the way for me to order a glass for myself but I will take some tastes again tonight. We're going again for the cheap taps and more good food.
* What an odd brew. I don't really care normally for rosemary or ginger. A little goes a long way in my books. I found though after the second taste I would give it another three tries over a 30 minute span.

(I have to inquire when Toronto is going to eliminate smoking on patios. Ugh. Smokers to the left of us, smokers to the right, here we are stunk in the middle of them.)
