Best Bargains

Post by sofakingdrunk »

After picking up a few cans of great lakes canuck today at lcbo, I was thinking about how great(relatively) a deal it is. Awesome tasting beer at a (relatively) good price. We all know which beers are extremely overpriced for shit tasting garbage, but thats another issue. Got me to thinking....what is everyone else's thoughts on best bang-for-you-buck beers. Perhaps someone may be missing out on something of great value.

For me, its Canuck,Side launch Pale ale,Rocheforte, St Berny 12 and Saison Dupont

Chimay Premiere - $6.80 for a 750mL Trappist dubbel. The Rocheforts are a great value as well.

Bolshevik Bastard at $9.95 for a 4-pack is a pretty good bargain IMO. Also, I've always thought La Fin du Monde, Trois Pistoles, and Maudite were always great value for their 4-pack prices.

Had this, and it's just not my thing. I found it had a kind of minty thing going on. However, you're right, great value for folks that like it.

That is a bargain....but not that cheap here. I pay minimum $7 for a 1L squealer of(usually) middle of the road beer.

I would go with Canuck and Naughty Neighbour as my best LCBO bargains...
Everytime I learn something new I forget something old...like that time I learned to make wine and then forgot how to drive...

Sinha Stout is great, I agree with that mention.

The only thing I get from TBS is a 4-pack of Trois Pistoles, also a good deal at 4 for 10.45.

I've never been able to get into the excitement over Canuck Pale Ale. Red Racer can be a great deal though.
